I'O | Chocolate Martini
You had me at Chocolate. Well, actually at Martini...
I'O, the swanky sister restaurant to neighboring pacific'O is located on a charming stretch of white sand beach. Award winning chef James MacDonald's creative take on traditional and local dishes alike makes this one of Maui's most popular dinner spots.
When dining with friends, we usually start with any number of inventive appetizers (the Thai Curry Asparagus Soup was featured in 'Bon Appetit'), then the "Totally Buff" (I'O's take on the caprese salad), and on to the fresh fish (available in a dazzling array of preparations). When I asked a friend who's a fantastic cook, what her favorite desert is on the island, she immediately responded, without hesitation, "the chocolate martini at I'O!"

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 oz. Godiva White
- 1 1/2 oz. Godiva Black
- 1 oz. Vodka (of your choice)
- Oreo Cookie
- Chocolate syrup
METHOD
- Crush cookie. Rim Glass with chocolate syrup and decorate as desired.
- Shake and pour into Oreo-rimmed glass with chocolate syrup swirled inside the glass.
- Vanilla Vodka may also be substituted.
